The new PC arrived and is about 75% configured. I still have one IDE hard drive to transfer across but have ran out of disc space. I forsee some form of NAS appearing in the near future, depending on Mrs M of course...
The last of the weddings to be processed has been done, the web galleries will be up at the weekend. My apologies again to my patient customers.
Anyway, just to be getting on with, have a look at this video posted on YouTube. It was made for european energy company Electrobel to celebrate the New Year of 2009. And no I didn't shoot it!
Please don't ask me to replicate that, unless you are starting in the 6 figure range!

Up and running again!

Houston, we have a problem...
It had to happen sooner or later, and finally my PC is going through its death throes. Thankfully all the important data is safely stored on external drives, but I am now limited to what I can do especially with photography. My laptop is OK, but it struggles to run Photoshop at a working pace.
So, my credit card will take its first big hit of the year, and a new PC will make an appearance very soon. (Before any techies give me hassle, it's at the stage now where an(other) upgrade is going to cost much the same as a new box of tricks.)
Clients and Customers please bear with me, and I assure you again that all images are safely stored.

Edit: My credit card remains intact; Sandra paid for the new PC!

Shandon House
Also known as St Andrew's School from it's final use (so far) as a list D school, Shandon House is now the only remaining building on the 30 acre site by the shores of the Gare Loch. Sold by the Council to the MoD when the school finally closed in the 1980s, the building has remained unused and receives only minimal maintenance to keep it safe. Sadly this has not stopped break-ins, vandalism, and theft, as well as the expected deterioration of the exterior and subsequently the interior.

The options for the building's future are under review by the MoD, although demolition is unlikely as it is Grade B listed. Meanwhile the grounds are used by the locals and CND peace camp for recreation and, in 2008, a concert!
Type Shandon, Helensburgh, United Kingdom in Google Maps to see a satalite view of the area.
